Otter and Baby

Otter and baby drawn on a graphics tablet.

Birthday Invitation

An invitation, drawn for my sisters birthday party. She loves tea as much as I do and requested something simple. The shakey outline of the large teapot is something to cut around, as she requested that the invitation be teapot shaped. Drawn straight on to computer using a graphics tablet.

Second practice and alteration, added colour.

Changed around to feature Union Jack flag, as she is having an “English Tea Party”. Muted pastel colours (better for girls!)

Building Stop Animation (in progress...)

This is a work in progress. The first practices of a stop animation project I am starting called ”Green”, based on eco-architecture and the use of sustainable architecture now. These are the first few seconds out of a total of 30 seconds for the TV opening titles. Each video is a different stage I have got to, as I have never attempted stop animation before. Done using a Nikon D3100, on white paper background, using fine line pens and hand illustrated.

Magazine Layout

Magazine layout project. Piece of text used called ‘Gothic Horror’. Columns used around text, and text designed into column shapes are to represent the utilitarianism and control during the time of Nazi Germany, whilst ‘Gothic’ typography was being designed and formed by Adolf Hitler. These ‘Gothic’ typefaces were to be used in Nazi propaganda.
